Who says the makeup professionals are the only ones who get to know the top makeup tricks?!
Here are 6 makeup tricks that will drastically improve your makeup routine. These steps are easy and only require a few products!
TRICK #1: USE LIP PENCILS INSTEAD OF LIPSTICKS FOR LONG LASTING LIP COLOUR
If you’re tired of applying your lipstick throughout the day, use a lip liner instead. Being rather dry, lip pencils tend to last much longer than traditional lipsticks. Simply line your lips as usual, and then fill in the rest of your lips. Your lip colour will last for hours!
TRICK #2: BRIGHTEN THE EYES WITH A LIGHT CONCEALER AND SOFT BRUSH
After a long day of work, you are bound to have some heavy circles under the eyes. If you plan on going out after work, an easy solution is to apply a light concealer, and blend out with a soft brush. You can apply it on top of your makeup as long as you apply the concealer in a light layer. Set it with a pressed powder and flat sponge.
TRICK #3: USE ANY PRESSED POWDER 3 SHADES DARKER AS A CONTOUR POWDER
This next tip is super easy, yet often overlooked. Use any pressed powder that is three shades darker than your skin to contour it! To apply, take your brush and apply the pressed powder just under the cheekbones. This will give a soft contoured look.
TRICK #4: TURN ANY LIPSTICK INTO A MATTE FINISH
One of the latest trends is matte lips. Our makeup tricks in this regard refer to using any face powder and applying it on top of your lipstick to turn your lips matte. Put a tissue on top of your lips and wipe the powder with a face brush.
TRICK #5: CHOOSE CREAM OVER POWDER
Cream eye shadows are for more mature eyes. They don’t lie in fine lines like powders do. Stick to neutrals to avoid an overdone look; don`t apply any mascara on your bottom lashes.
TRICK #6: MASTER MASCARA
Get a false-lash glam look with just mascara. Hold a mirror so that you see your nose, and start with the mascara wand firmly right at the very base of your lashes where they meet your upper lid. When you`ve applied mascara on two thirds of your lashes, roll the wand slowly up and off the rest of the lashes. It takes a little practice, but you’ll get a dramatic and curled effect.
Fortunatelly, these makeup tricks help save you money and time in your makeup routine!
